Applications are officially open for “The Mentorship Program”

Today, we are proud to announce that applications are officially open for “The Mentorship Program”. The  iHub and  the “Skunkworks” Foundation have partnered to run the program over a one year period. “Skunkworks” foundation has a bias on community outreach, while the iHub is an open space for the tech community. This has made it easy for both parties to work together to launch and roll out the mentorship program.
This mentorship program will not only provide business and technology insight to the community, but also give life coaching, that will help the participants to adapt and cope in a fast changing business and technology environment. We seek to create and nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs in Kenya and East Africa to encourage Innovation and Entrepreneurship within the community to enhance social change and development within the tech ecosystem across Kenya and East Africa.
Applications will be live on the mentorship website from the 23rd of March 2011, and the program is open to the technology community within East Africa.  The deadline for first round applicants is 6th April 2011, 11.59 pm (GMT+3), but the website will continue to accept applications from interested candidates.
